At the heart of our application process lies a commitment to elevating grassroots organizations in Oregon serving two-spirit, trans, gender non-conforming, and/or intersex (TGNCI) folks and their loved ones. Below you will see the exact phrasing of the questions that you will encounter. The requirements are as follows: Region, Audience, Services, Non-Profit Status, Budget, Black & Indigenous Leadership, and TGNCI Leadership.

This grant is exclusively for those addressing the needs of TGNCI folks and their loved ones. TGNCI folks and their loved ones should be at the center of program design.

Why we ask this question:
Qualifying organizations must be aligned with our core values and demonstrate their work aligns with our strategic and philosophical focus. Those who select “None of the Above” will be considered ineligible. Remember, community healing addresses collective well-being and liberation. Some examples could include trans-specific services in the areas of foster youth, medical advocacy and services, and immigration and refugee services.
Non-Profit Status
Do you have an EIN number? If so, please provide.

Why we ask this question:
In order to be considered for a GO Grant, you must have or operate under a 501c3 designation and corresponding EIN number or apply on behalf of a federally recognized Tribal Nation. AMRF uses your EIN to confirm eligibility for tax-deductible contributions. Learn more about our EIN requirement. In the case of Tribal Nations, applicants will provide the name of the Tribal Nation. Band name is optional.
Budget
Is your total annual operating budget under $2 million?
