Launch of the First-Ever GO Grant Program

Laura Hamburg, AMRF’s Regional Director for Mendocino, worked closely with local tribes, smaller nonprofits, and trusted voices in the community to design our first-ever GO Grant program. Launched in 2023, our twenty-five GO Grantees are now an interconnected, robust network of multi-disciplinary do-gooders. Occasionally, we bring them all together. Regularly, we work to amplify their efforts.

Outreach Program Design

In 2020, through a community collaborative process with local stakeholders, including direct service providers, government, and other funders, our team supported the launch of an outreach program. The idea was to provide low-barrier medical care to people experiencing homelessness under the direction of a nurse practitioner. That project quickly expanded to include a range of important services and continues to flourish.
